The Sixth Form
A P P L I C ATION PROCESS
for September 2017

and beyond. By registering, parents are
showing us that they intend their
children to apply to join our
Sixth Form.
In August we will contact all parents who have
registered, to confirm that their son or daughter
intends to take our entrance exams. We will send
out our application form, which should then be
returned by 3rd October 2016. On the application
form, candidates will nominate four subjects for
assessment. Ideally these should be subjects that
they are considering for A Level. However, we
recognise that some applicants will not yet have firm
plans for their A Levels and we suggest that they
offer four of their strongest GCSE subjects.
Exam papers will be set in accordance with GCSE
syllabuses, albeit in the knowledge that candidates
will not yet have finished their GCSE courses.
