Rationale
I am teaching these objectives because they align directly with the English and language
arts standards for this grade level. They will be able to analyze the chapter and the
characters actions, which is an integral part of their learning in second grade. This lesson
fits into the unit of novel studies. They have been answering comprehension questions
after they read the chapter. This allows them to reflect and connect big events
throughout the book. This lesson will incorporate cooperative and collaborative learning. I
have noticed that my students struggle with coming up with answers, so I designed this
