Summary and Reflection on: New Modes of Productivity for Students Learning

This article presents the main idea of how to form productivity in nontraditional students
learning. Todays students come from very highly diverse backgrounds. Most of the students are
adult who focus on achieving their goals. Unlike traditional learning pattern of students attending
the classroom sessions, some students take distance education course, and some students mix
education with work which is why they cannot focus exclusively on their study. Consequently,
both the faculty and learners must have effective learning goals. This article conveys a program

accomplish achieving the learning goals, faculty should know students goal and help them find
a strategy to achieve their goals according to their different situations. For achieving students
goals, reliable and valid measures are required. Grades are not a sufficient measure of achieving

goals and yet they could be a useful measurement if they are made in a certain standard of
assessments and criteria which actually help the students in their learning process. Faculty need
an effective pedagogy that would give some ideas and strategies for students to learn better.
Overall, faculty, students and administrators need to know the strategies that can increase
productivity.
I strongly agree with this article. There are many kinds of students with nontraditional
backgrounds. All the methods this article contributed are accurate and measurable for both
faculty and students. I agree with this program of productivity because it is appropriate for
students because it emphasizes multiple assessments suited to disparate student learning goals
