Beginning the Lesson
-Review of the previous lesson with questions.
Each student will sit down on their desk and answer these 2 questions.

2) List down 3 adjectives on the paper given.
-The teacher will go through the review with the class and tell the students
that today we will talk about words that describe verbs.
-The teacher will move around the classroom very fast.
-Then the teacher will again move around slowly.
-The teacher will then write the two sentences down The teacher moved slowly, The
teacher moved fast.
-Then the teacher will underline the adverb and explain what it actually means.
-An adverb is a word that describes a verb.

Developing the Lesson.

-Acting out the adverbs.

-The teacher will divide the class into pairs.
-Each pair will get chance to act out an adverb in front of the whole class.
20min -After they act it out they are required to make a full sentence.
-Each group will be given a number from 1-10.
-The teacher will write the words on paper and fold and students will draw which group
will act out which phrase.
-The teacher will give all groups 1 minute to prepare.
-Each group will have 1 minute to present.
