Plan for the day:

The plan for the day was to prepare a blueprint for field work as per the
instructions of .

Work done:

Trainee along with 6 other meets at Charankhad for completing the plan of the
day. Trainee under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Guddu Sharma planned
for providing the details to people regarding the polio drops which are to be
given to their children. Pulse polio day was on the same day as of field work
day. So trainee interacted with the people and told them to take their children for
polio drops. The next plan of the day was to prepare blueprint of the activities
which are to be executed by the trainee during next six months. So, activities
decided are:

1. Visit to governmental institutions like DC office, UNDP,MC office,

Ngos like jagori, Gunjun, Harmony etc and all other institutions which
adds to trainees knowledge.
2. Meeting with Mrs Kamla Patial president of municipal corporation office
to rejoin knowledge regarding the benefits and schemes running for the
people of charankhad slum area.
3. Awaring people for pulse polio drops to be given to their children and to
make them understand not to miss any pulse polio day.
4. Celebration of events like Republic day, Himachal day etc.
5. Conducting group activities for children as in this semester trainee is also
learning Social group work. So best way to implement knowledge into
practice is to use in Field work.
6. Due to rainy season the garbage and filth is again on the roads causing
diseases like cholera, Diarrhea, dengue etc especially in the slum area

 charankhad dharamshala.So, awaring the residents of charankhad-slum
area regarding the significance of cleanliness.
7. Visit to de-addiction center to observe their working.
8. Regularly awaring people about the upcoming pulse polio dates.

Utilization of social work knowledge:

Group Study: Group study is used in field work. It provides a broader

platform to make out the things. Different opinion of the group member
gives an accurate inference of the study work. Different group activities
were suggested by different members and finally one group activity is
chosen which also provides entertainment and also help in developing the
skills and abilities.
Principle of non judgmental view: Trainee makes a visit in the slum
area without any prior judgmental view and biasness was made about any
children on the basis of caste, sex, religion, color or any other.
Principle of acceptance: Trainee accepted the slum people and its
residents the way they are living and no modifications were made by the
trainee for their own comfort.
All ethics and principles were followed by the trainee for successful
completion of the task.

Achievements:

The output of the day was very effective. It added a lot to the trainees
knowledge. Trainee successfully completed plan of the day.

Learning:

Blue printing is very important before executing any task. Approximate plan of
six months were prepared by the trainee and the group

Future Plan:

To interact with the children at tuition center and to conduct a group activity
with an aim to generate interest in tuition center and school. The plan for second
half of the day was to aware the children about the importance of Jan 25 i.e.
Himachal day.
