I examined the first assignment that I give my students and compared the
instructions to the eight elements to include in written assignment
instructions as recommended by OReilly and Kelly (2008), and I found that I
include 7 of the elements in that first assignment. The one that was not
included was the mechanical details, which I rarely include with the weekly
assignments, but include in the course project.
Process:
Examine the career exploration notes which describe the career planning
process that you will undertake during the next 15 weeks.
The Discussion Folder in the assignment provides you with a link to the
Discussion Board where you will post your answer to the question
Which career theory do you like the most & why? Review the grading
rubric before you post your comments. Note that to receive 5 points for
participation in the class discussion you must reply to at least two
classmates.
