Reflection of article review

The topic of my article is, Developing a classroom Management plan using a tiered
approach. The main theme of this article is to framework the students and special needs to
structure the general class structure and have effective classroom management. So, the author
describe about the three tiered model that helps to support the classroom management. As I was
doing my reflection for disposition from the book, Walking with God in classroom about
collaboration it stated that classroom as a learning communities. I agree the article because it is
hard to manage classroom that has some student who needs special care. I do have the
experiences about such classroom. At first when I saw some student who needs special care I
was afraid because I havent seen such student and some other student were trying to bully. But
as day passed by and I tried to interact with that kid I found out when you communicate and
show some love, care and attention to them they will open up to you and you can communicate
well and know what they feel and you can share what you expect from them.

We have students who are different from one another and unique in their own ways. Some need
special care and some doesnt need but as a teacher we should not make our student feel that we
are giving more care to them than other student because student can think that teacher is doing
Favouritism. Being a teacher we should give equal care, love and attention to everyone so, that
when we give some more attention to special needs they dont feel bad. I like how the author has
stated. The plan incorporates guiding questions that direct teachers in selecting those practices
that will best meet their context. So, when we structure our classroom or manage our classroom
we should take note of grade level, number of student, the one who is struggling, who are
disable, and many more. We should take notes of everything in order to make an effective
classroom management which is essential for teaching the students well. I like this article
because we can have a better idea on how we should manage classroom because classroom
management and discipline are very important while teaching. This article helps me to
understand that as a teacher one should be concern about classroom management, practices and
effective support to the students. Maybe it has some negative point as well but this article gives
me a clear picture how to provide a behavioural support, to develop classroom environment. As I
am going to be a teacher I will be more prepared to make my classroom more Christ centred and
to manage my classroom in such a way that it helps my student to build the better relationship
with one another. And I will a supportive teacher to my students so, that the rapportness between

student and teacher can be well maintained. And I also learn to be consistent and keep myself
cool, to be kind and steady and also to make behaviour plan and follow them too.
