Innovative Governance and Sustainable Pathways in a Disruptive Environment as the theme of the RMIT Governance and Sustainability Conference, 2017 is inspired by the rapid transformations and emergent challenges arising from disruptive technologies, socio-political-environmental crises, and new market demands which call for more innovative ways of governance for sustainability. Accounting and management research in general are increasingly expanding their horizons in pursuit of finding new meanings and understandings of ways to measure, evaluate and foster sustainable solutions through innovative governance founded on ethical and responsible management. This conference aims to bring together thought leaders in this area and provide a forum for sharing cutting edge research ideas and up-to-date empirical evidence.
