INTRODUCTION
Docol Construction & Trading Company is an engineering construction company that
has been in operations since June 2007 when it was incorporated as a limited liability
entity under the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia. It is registered with the
Ministry of Public Works and Reconstruction.

We have a team of qualied and seasoned professionals, with several years of

experience construction. Docol Construction & Trading Company guarantees a quality
and safe service delivery. We have a high track record, which has endeared us to the
construction and engineering companies within and outside the shores Banadir
region.

SAFETY,
HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT
DOCOL Construction, Rehabilitation & Trading Company is committed to ensuring a
working environment that is safe and without risk to the health and safety of its
employees and to other personnel working within the company facilities.

The policy of DOCOL Company to:-

Ensure compliance with all the statutory requirements on matters pertaining to
health and safety at work place in accordance with the most recent legislation.

Incorporate health and safety considerations into business decision making.

Ensure that all equipments are operated, maintained and are safe, regularly
inspected as required by government authorized inspectors and certied
legally safe for operations to provide safe workplace.

Ensure that proper health and safety rules and procedures are in place and are
followed by all employees and personnel on site on the eld work.

Ensure that appropriate protective safety gear is worn by all employees, visitors
and personnel on site and on any eld work the company is assigned to.

Ensure employee training and giving proper instructions about the health and
safety rules and that any hazards/risks are well indicated.

Provide proper and adequate response systems in case of accident /incidents

emergencies and to take appropriate measures to avoid recurrence.

That all managers will be responsible for health, safety and environment in their
working places.

All employees will adhere to the applicable health and safety rules /
procedures as part of their job responsibility and shall use all precautions in
performing their duties in order to avoid any accidents.
These guidelines will be reviewed from time to time to make changes where
necessary as trend demands.

Transportation & Warehousing
Docol is a leading provider of specialized services in integrated multi-mode solutions
for the transportation of bulk and container cargo. Docol provides a single window for
businesses that seek seamless transportation, warehousing, supply chain
management and trucking.

Docol have branches in Mombasa and Nairobi and with more than 10 Docol trucks
plying on the road and total warehouse space exceeding 14,000 square metres; we
are handling large volumes of business successfully. Our eet strength at 20 trucks
with others readily available from our sister companies should the need arise, this
makes us one of the largest owners of light-goods capacity trucks in the country and
the largest owners of trucks with ISO-certied containerized bodies in Mogadishu,
Somalia.

We have successfully procured long-term contractual agreements with UN

Organizations and other Non-Government Organizations operating within the Horn of
Africa such as the World Food Programme and Turkish Red Crescent to name a few
since year 2011.

Docols commodity trading section is managed by a group of professionals who have
specialized experience in International Trading by virtue of working from the grass root
level to top levels and is a well recognized company in international trading. Docol has
emerged as a major player in the Somalia market and is well recognized in major
markets across Somalia.
