Meet High Gamma Matt Quist

Matt is a sports management major, and currently has an internship with the
Maverick Football team. Sports are enjoyable for just about anyone, but Matt
has always had a strong passion for sports growing up and wanted to do it for a
living. How awesome would it be to help out at the Super Bowl being held in
Minnesota? Well he was just accepted into a class next year that allows him to
work in the stadium during the Super Bowl. He hopes to go into coaching or
being an athletic director when he graduates.
Matts favorite thing about Lambda Chi is the great brotherhood presence at
this time in the chapter. I can rely on any of my brothers with anything, Matt
said. Hopefully our brotherhood continues to grow in the future!

Meet High Tau Cole Buesgens

Cole is currently a sophomore pursuing a degree in Accounting. But Cole, why
would you want to punch numbers all the time? He said, I like the numbers aspect of
accounting and being able to understand financial information. Accounting also stood
out to him because of all the job opportunities that you can pursue with it.
Ultimately, this helps make his job as the treasurer (High Tau) easier because of
all the previous experiences he has encountered through accounting and new
information he is learning throughout my classes. So far, all of the debts that have
needed to be collected, have been collected. Not only is Cole good at punching
numbers, he is also good at retrieving funds.
Besides studying in the library, Cole is an avid hunter with his father and brother.
He also loves all sports, mostly baseball, and just relaxing with buddies. Usually he is
pretty quiet but once you get on the topic of sports, it is hard to even get a word into
the conversation.
When asked what is favorite thing about Lambda Chi is Cole said, Its a home
Its a home away away from home. It truly is a place where you can be yourself, and can be
from home.
considered a second family.

Greek Week
The week of March 26th was Greek
Week! There were multiple events
throughout the week including a lip
sync competition and a cardboard boat regatta.
However, we shined the most in the Greek
God and Goddess competition when our Greek
God candidate Mitch Condon won the title!
Greek Week also gave us an opportunity to give Above is a picture of the chapter with our boat

Meet New Member Bryce Thompson

Brother Thompson is in his first semester as an active brother and has a passion for
sports and business. Bryce went to high school in Chisago Lakes where he was a three-
sport athlete, playing golf, football, and hockey. He is now playing golf for MSU.
Outside of sports, Bryce is majoring in business management and aspires to one day
own his own business and retire at the age of 50, most likely so he can play more golf.
When asked why he joined Lambda Chi he said, I joined Lambda Chi for the
brotherhood aspect and the networking opportunities

Meet High Sigma Grant Lundquist

Grant was initiated just last semester but he has already taken a
significant role in the fraternity. He stepped into the High Sigma position this
semester and has done an excellent job setting up regular study tables,
collecting grade sheets, and making sure we maintain our reputation as
having some of the best grades in MSU Greek life. Grant said, I took the
position because I saw it as a position that could be improved. He has had I took the
some good unique ideas that have helped improve the Sigma position. position because I

Grant is a Freshman but he spent four years playing junior hockey in that could be
Maine. He was born and raised in Canada which explains his love for hockey improved
but he has now hung up his skates to pursue a career in business.

Lambda Chi Alpha

415 S. Broad St.
Meet A Soon-To-Be Alumni Mitch Condon
Apt.1-3 Mitch was originally initiated in the Fall of 2013 during his
Mankato, MN, 56001 first semester at MNSU- Mankato. He came from Wayzata High
School, one of the biggest schools in the metro, however he did
not know many of his classmates were following him down to
Mankato. Fortunately, Mitch met a few people his welcome week
at school that brought me around and showed me a great time not
knowing a lot of people. Those men were members of Lambda
Chi Alpha, the rest is history. Over the past 4 years, Mitch has
held the position of High Epsilon, High Alpha and currently reside
as the High Phi. He also served a term on the Student Advisory
Committee at the International Headquarters and participated in
the International Ritual Team during the 2015 STEAD Leadership
Conference at Iowa State. I would not trade any of my memories
away and the experience I had in this chapter, Mitch said. He am graduated with a degree in
Law Enforcement and Spanish. He plans on moving back to the metro, post-graduation, and
finding a police officer position near the cities or surrounding metro area. His favorite time in
Lambda Chi Alpha would be any Initiation week rolls around. The ritual means so much to
me and I try to leave my life exactly as a Brother of Lambda Chi Alpha would to make my
Brothers proud. Please wish Brother Condon well as he continues his passion for Law
Enforcement! And be sure to keep a lookout for more Soon-To-Be Alumni!
