YOUME SHUHADA AND ANZAC SPIRIT IS ON PASSION, INTEGRITY & APNAPAN

Dear All,
We will once again have the honour to be part of the official ANZAC Dawn ceremony on 25th
April, 2017 at Kings Park which is an immense honour.
This will be followed by the annual Fayyaz Sumbul Cricket Cup, our cricket match with the AFP XI
at Commer Reserve in South Perth on 29th April to coincide with the Youme Shuhada in Pakistan
on 30th April.
The match starts at noon with sausage sizzle. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks for a
picnic. There will be games for kids as well to play and keep them busy.

On a separate note as community was coming to terms with the killing of Zeeshan Akber whose
body was repatriated last week to homeland, we have another sad news to share that Arsalan
Ahmed who was a postgrad student of electrical engineering in Melbourne passed away in his
sleep this morning. The High Commissioner of Pakistan is in touch with the friends and family to
make the necessary arrangements.

We are concerned with the flyer (p.5) that was distributed at Cannington railway station in Perth
this week. It is not difficult to get hold of these culprits as the train stations are equipped with
cameras and we would be curious to know what action has been taken by the lw enforcing
agencies.

There is also great concern at the recent change to 457 Visa and it is unclear at tehj moment as
to how it is going to affect the existing 457 visa holders. It is absoultely essential that measures
are in place to protect the migrants on 457 visa from the employers who may take advantage of
their vulnerability.
