HSC exam 2017 started 2nd April this year. More than 1.2 million students appeared this year In
2,288 centers across the country under 10 Education board including Technical and Madrasah
Board. These students are from more than 8500 educational institutions including seven
registered foreign centers. After two years of higher secondary education, a student needs to sit
for another public exam called HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) Examination. HSC Exam
begins from April in Bangladesh every year. And the exam routine publishes two months before
the examination. HSC Result will publish in August. Here we provided all necessary information
regarding HSC exam 2017 result.
Bangladesh Education Board Result :

This year, theoretical exams ended on May 15, while practical exams were held between May 16
and 25. Exams in the days first half started at 10:00 am and continued until 1:00 pm, while
exams in the days second half began at 2:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm. Students with disabilities
were given additional 20 minutes to write their answers with the help of a scribe. Students with
certain disabilities like Down syndrome and autism had an extra half hour and were permitted to
get assistance from their parents or a helper.

Last year, the result published on 18th August 2016. As this years HSC exam started around the
same time as the previous year, we can expect the result publication this year around that time
which is 2nd or 3rd week of August. You can find the result from our website www.bd-result.com

The gaps between exams this year were narrowed down so that the examiners can get more time
to evaluate answer scripts. The result publication process will be the same as previous year.

The Marks will count as grade point for each subject. The grading system is as it was before.

HSC Exam 2017 result will count as follows. G.P.A for each respective subject will be summed
after subtracting 2 points from the G.P.A of the optional subject. Then it will be divided by the
total number of subject excluding the optional subject.

This year 654,000 male candidates and 565,000 are female candidates took part in the exam.
4,321 candidates are attending exam under Diploma-in-Business Studies (DIBS) authorized by
Bangladesh Technical Education Board. HSC Exams was also held at 7 (seven) centers abroad,
where 262 students attended the exams.

On August 18, 11:30 am, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the results to
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gono Bhaban in Dhaka. After the Education Minister hands
over the result to The Honorable Prime Minister, the result will publish on the official website.
Though there are many ways to get HSC Exam Result 2017, the most popular one is through the
official website. You can get your result directly from Education Board website and BD result, or
you can get the result via Mobile SMS or from your college. The SMS format is elaborated later
in the article.

How to get HSC Result 2017 Online:

HSC Exam Result 2017 can be seen according to the process given here. Examinees can
download their exam result from both Mobile and PC. Bangladesh education board will publish
the result first. Around the same time, all education board will start providing the result from
their website. Sometimes we face difficulty while browsing. This problem will be fixed soon

Steps:

1. First, visit www.bd-result.com or www.educationboardresults.gov.bd to check HSC exam

result 2017 of any board.

2. Then enter HSC/ Alim/ Equivalent for examination preference.

3. Input your exam Year, Board, Roll, Registration number

4. Fill the last box with Captcha code shown on the left.

5. Enter Get Results.

You will be shown your result on the next page.

Example: If the Examinee is from Dhaka Board. He would put HSC in the first box. Then in the
place of the Year, the examinee needs to choose 2017. For Dhaka Board, Dhaka is to be selected.
Finally, after entering his/ her Roll, Registration Number and Captcha Code in respective boxes,
the result will appear briefly.

Dhaka Board HSC Result 2017

Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is responsible for administration all
public and private schools except English version and English medium schools and Madrasahs in
Dhaka City as well as the entire Dhaka Division. The SMS format for the result is as follows:

Chittagong Board HSC Result 2017

The Chittagong Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education started their operation in 1995.
It is a self-regulating and observing organization in the sector of Educational Management and

Re-scrutiny/ Challenge program of HSC Result 2017

Many students dont get the results as expected. It could be due to an unintentional mistake in
inputting the number in the database or calculating the sum of the number in the answer script.

However, Education Board has given a chance to check the answer scripts. You can apply for this
process by SMS.Fees will be charged for each subject for re-scrutiny.

In reply, you will get an SMS which will let you know how much application money will be
charged and a PIN number will be given to you through SMS for confirmation.

If you agree to give the amount, go to message option and type

That subject has two papers (e.g. Bangla and English) application will be under the one subject
code. For Bangla 101 and English 107 the application fee will be charged TK. 300.

To download or see the full detailed result including separate GPA for each subject, you will
have to wait until the evening of the result date. The detailed results can also be found the same
manner as the previous format through internet and SMS service.

Institution wise results also can be found on the Education Board website. After entering the site,
click results section. There you will find an option named Institution wise result. After
clicking, you will be asked to input EIIN of the institution you want the detailed result including
total examinees of the Institute, the total number of passed candidates and pass rate as well as the
total number of GPA 5.00 from the college.
