Eid-ul-Fitr is the holiday celebrated to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadaan. The Islamic
lunar month of Ramadaan is the holiest month of the Muslim calendar. During this month Muslims
fast, and refrain from food and water (from dawn until dusk every day), as a form of spiritual
cleansing of the soul and body.

At the end of Ramadaan, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr by

hosting community events, family celebrations and exchanging gifts.

Join us for this very special occasion and learn more about
Al-Fatiha and its important work on behalf of LGBT Muslims.

All LGBT Muslims and their allies are invited to attend.

Founded in 1998, Al-Fatiha has since grown to include seven chapters in the United States, and
