Do you think that domestic violence is important in the united states ? If you may not
think that it's important , try to step into the people shoes that do get abused and maybe listen to a
story that someone may have to tell and maybe your feelings towards domestic violence would
change . There is about 1.3 million women that are victims of domestic violence each year (
Chicago Tribune ) , This is a real big number if you really think about it , Because the number
goes up every couple seconds , so just think about it every second of the day , 24 hours a day , 7
days a week , 365 days a year somebody out here in the world is being beaten , men , women ,
boy or girl. one in three women is a victim of domestic violence. One in three girls and one in six
boys are victims of sexual abuse before they reach the age of 18.
emotional , all these forms do not get an equal amount of attention it deserves , there
isn't enough public awareness and knowledge of all the ways a person can be abused
. it is so many different stories and topics dealing with domestic violence sometimes
So let me start here , i feel sorry for never reporting the domestic abuse to the
police . Rape violence , confinement , threats with weapons , death threats , stealing and
destruction of property . i think he would be in jail for a long time if i would have
reported him. But i think it's too late . There is no proof other than the years i wasted with
testimony that a lady wrote about her abusive relationship and what she think she could

have done to prevent some of the things from happening that did happen. Maybe that
didn't get your attention , maybe you still don't think domestic violence is important . So
maybe this research paper need a little bit more information in it . So i bet you didn't
know that children can go through domestic violence / abuse . yes it's so sad but it does
happen . it was also stated earlier in my paper that violence and abuse have many
different causes . Such as child abuse and neglected children is defined as any intentional
, emotional , physical , or sexual injury to a child. There is also sexual abuse including a
wide range of sexual behavior that take place between a child and an older person . Have
you ever thought about teenage dating violence in a study looked in the year of 2000 the
dating violence for high school boys and girls were very high and it's very disappointing ,
but enough talking about children violence it to hard to even think about when you may
Domestic violence may also have several different types of names , it maybe something
like intimate partner violence (IPV) , partner abuse , and spousal abuse , it is a very serious ,
Here Goes a very popular story dealing with my domestic violence topic, a former American
football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers. In 2001, he was found guilty of conspiring to
On November 16, 1999, near Carruth's home in Charlotte, North Carolina; Cherica Adams, a
woman Carruth had been dating, was shot four times in a drive-by shooting. Surviving the
shooting for a time, Adams called 9-1-1 and described Carruth's behavior: he had stopped his

vehicle in front of hers as another vehicle drove alongside Adams' and its passenger shot her.
Adams was eight months pregnant with Carruth's child. Soon after her admission to the
hospital, Adams fell into a coma. Doctors saved her son, Chancellor Lee Adams, in an
emergency Caesarean section, but Cherica Adams died a month later on December 14. But Her
Carruth went to the police and posted a $3 million bond, with the condition that if either Cherica
or Chancellor died, he would turn himself in. However, after Adams died, Carruth became a
fugitive. The Panthers released him a few days later, citing a morals clause in his contract.
He was eventually captured after being found hiding in the trunk of a car outside a motel
in Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee. They Eventually Pleaded Him Guilty of Conspiracy to commit
murder , Shooting into an occupied vehicle, and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child .
He was was sentenced to 18 to 24 years in prison. But It's crazy how they did not find him guilty
of 1st degree murder and was spared the death penalty . That makes you wonder what did Ms.
adams do to deserve to be murdered , But sometimes it just be like that , It's just so evil and cruel
He should be ashamed of himself , he tried to kill his own son , who is still living til this
very day to tell his story that his mother did not get to tell .
But I most definitely hope that your opinion on domestic violence is changed and you and
