professionsmajors(U.S.DepartmentofEducation).Duetothewidevarietyoffieldsassociated
withthesemajorssomeindividualscontinuetopursueresearchwhileothersentermedicaland
healthprofessionsfield.Foreachoftheseareasofstudytherearespecificscholarlytextsand
academicjournalsthatcanbeassociatedwiththem.Writinglikethisincludespeerreviewed
journalsandarticleswrittenbyexpertsinthefield.Generally,theseworksinformothersofnew
researchthatcouldbenefitandprogressthedisciplineforward.Incomparingatraditional
scholarlyworkwithamorepopularmediumamagazinearticle,arhetoricalanalysiswillbe
conducted.Thetwoworksdiscussdentalanxietyandthedifferencesintheirstructure,style,and
useoflanguageareexaminedtodeterminethemosteffectivewritingstyleinaprofessional
