ylie Jenner, the youngest
sibling out of the Kardashian/
Jenner clan, and the second
most popular sibling after Kim- you
know, the sister that did that thing
and made their family back into the
limelight and famous? Yeah... her.
Considering Kylie is the youngest,
she still holds her own ground, with
her 80.1 million Instagram followers
and her growing 18.9 million Twitter
followers. Being 18 years of age
hasnt stopped her from making
headway in the fashion and beauty
industries. She has had several lines
and endorsement deals with brands
such as OPI, Topshop, Bellami Hair,
Sinful Colours, PacSun and Puma-
to name just a few. But now her
cosmetic brand Kylie Cosmetics
has certainly grabbed everyones
attention all over social media. In our
interview with Kylie we asked about

the fashion that we see all over
her Instagram feed that we envy so
much.
She said, A lot of my fashion
inspiration, as I was growing up, was
from my older sisters; Kim, Khloe
and Kourtney. Id always see them
wearing the latest trends and Id
always want to steal things from
them. But, ever since I got on social
media it shaped my fashion style to
what it is today. I always see girls
who I follow on my Insta modelling
clothes and most of the time Im
always like Ive got to get myself
that top, dress, shoes etc.
Whenever I post an Insta picture,
I always get people of all ages
commenting where I got my clothes/
accessories from, then the next day
id be tagged in a photo of them
wearing the top that I was wearing
the day or week before. Its a
Paparazzi photo of the naturally fashionable Kylie (above). The power of social media
that the youngest Jenner has (below),
constant cycle, because I used to
copy my older sisters for years, now
people are doing the same with me-
Its pretty crazy, but I love it.
My sisters always taught me not
to shy away in the fashion industry,
but to shine and be the centre of
attention in fashion and beauty
industries as much as possible.
Thats how they got their companies
and stardom to be so high as it is
today. Using social media in todays
society has been a big impact on
company advertising. For example,
I could be wearing Dior sunglasses
in a photo, then the sales for those
sunglasses will go up 10 times.
I used to copy
my older sisters
for years, now
people are doing
the same with me-
Its pretty crazy
Social media definately has changed
peoples views and perspectives
on fashion and the industries. It
can either break or make you. If I
never had social media, I dont know
what my fashion style would be like
today, Id still be copying my sisters
to this day, which isnt that bad, but
wouldnt have my personality in it
and I wouldnt be this fashion icon
many people call me. Thank you to
the power of social media, youre a
fashion life saver to us all.
