I asked the children to go back to the circle area. I read a story about short and
tall things and I ended the lesson.

outcome? What evidence will you show to prove this?

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze
why you think it worked well and what hints you would share with other teachers
about the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.
Firstly, I started with a song with them about short and tall and doing a physical
movement. They were enjoying the song and active with me. In the engagement
time, I let them order themselves in the circle area from shorter to the taller. After
that, I show them a sample of two flags, short and tall. Then we moved to the
activities area.
In pairs, the students built a tall and small tower by the cubes, and they will
recognize which one is short and which one is tall, it was easy for them, and they
enjoyed it.
The second activity was individual. I let each student measure and books by the
cubes and write the number of how many cubes do the book has. It was little a bit
difficult for the low-level students. Some of them asked for help, and I showed them
how to do the activity step by step. The last activity I asked the students to find
any short and tall objects in the classroom. Some of them found, and the other
didnt.
In future, I will try to do more challenging activities for them and use more
strategies.
