Since its inception in 1975, Standard 90.1 has been widely adopted as the benchmark for energy efficiency in
buildings. It has set the foundation for energy efficiency in buildings in the United States and is expected to maintain a
leading role.

For example, for the roof requirement, a single layer of R-16 fiber glass with R-5.6 of continuous insulation

requirement, and may fit better with the interior finish desired in a worship facility.
