twomarks.Thetotalmarksallocatedtothissectionshallbe30outof200.

Part'B'
Thispartshallcontain25MultipleChoiceQuestions(MCQs)generallycoveringthetopicsgiveninthe
PartA(CORE)ofsyllabus.Eachquestionshallbeof3.5Marks.Thetotalmarksallocatedtothissection
shallbe70outof200.Candidatesarerequiredtoanswerany20questions.

Part'C'
Thispartshallcontain30questionsfromPartB(Advanced)andPartAthataredesignedtotesta
candidate'sknowledgeofscientificconceptsand/orapplicationofthescientificconcepts.Thequestions
shallbeofanalyticalnaturewhereacandidateisexpectedtoapplythescientificknowledgetoarriveatthe
solution to the given scientific problem. A candidate shall be required to answer any 20. Each question
shallbeof5Marks.Thetotalmarksallocatedtothissectionshallbe100outof200.
