Basic Insttetions for construction ROEDIGER VACUUM 2.1 Pipes Materials: All materials consist either of * Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): min. PN? 10, SDR* 21 * Polyethylene (PE-HD): min. PN 10, SDR 11 The contractor needs to take care about the pipe manufacturers warranty for the applica- tion of his pipes and fittings in a vacuum sewer system. PVC shall not be exposed to any direct sunlight longer than 1-2 days. PVC pipes stored outside have to be covered! Itis to be taken care about the following: * the drawings (construction plans) must be approved by the consulting engineer and Roediger vacuum ® the pipe-laying instructions of the pipe-manufacturer * the local standards, respective norms for pip installation, load protections, stabil- ity protections, etc. © the instructions of the manufacturer of PVC-glue and solvent * the norms EN 1091, DWA-A 116-1, DIN 19630, ... * State-of-the-art on pipe laying techniques Diameter translation: Nominal (DN), external diameter (d) The following table 1 shows diameters and parameters of common pipes.
