Overview

Solarflare SFN6322F Dual-Port 10GbE


The Solarflare SFN6322F dual-port SFP+ server adapter combines precision time
Precision Time Synchronization Server synchronization and timestamping of PTP packets with ultra-low latency 10G Ethernet.
The adapter is suitable for networks where there is a requirement to support the IEEE
Adapter 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP).

Removing the Bracket


The SFN6322F adapter is supplied with a full height bracket including 1PPS I/O cables
connected to SMT connections on the PCB. If it is required to remove or replace this
bracket, the 1PPS cables must be disconnected from the SMT connections. Care must
be taken to ensure the connectors are not damaged during removal. The cables should
lie in the position indicated in the diagram and a small screwdriver used to gently ease
the I/O cables from the SMT connections.
