Quantitative reasoning by definition is the application of basic mathematical skills, such

as algebra, used to analyze and interpret real-world quantitative information in the context of a

discipline or interdisciplinary problem to draw conclusions that are relevant to students in their

daily lives. Quantitative reasoning can be used in various aspects of an individuals' life,

depending on the circumstance, and the moment they are in, in their lives. I will be able to use

quantitative reasoning when it is time for me to purchase a home. I will be able to observe the

different options of loans, homes, and how much money I will need to save up in order to do

so. When I begin in my career of choice, I will need to start to think about my retirement plan. It

will be essential for me to calculate how much money I will need to save a month in order to

have the amount of money desired for me to live off of for an extended period of time.

Typically, around 20 years after I retire.

Another aspect to quantitative reasoning would be quantitative observations. A

quantitative observation is an observation that can be measured in numbers, such as volume,

length, acceleration, number of widgets. This can be used in career fields that involve

construction, cooking, etc.

Overall, I will need to use the skills I have developed in this course enter into my

adulthood. It is important to understand the various concepts we learned throughout the

semester to make excellent choices, as well as wise choices for our futures.
