Entrance Criteria:
Individuals must be a registered client through Connections Dartmouth or have a
referral into the group.
Individuals must be able to engage in physical activity such as walking for a
period of 30 minutes with the exception of breaks.
Individual must be able to get to and from the facility independently.
Exit Criteria:
Individuals no longer benefit from group.
Individuals discharged from service and/or group.
Exclusion Criteria:
Individuals without desire to reach goals re: their physical activity.

EO 1.1 To identify the impact physical activity has on an individuals level of fitness.
EO 1.2 To identify two impacts physical activity has on mood.
EO 2.1 To indentify three barriers impacting participation in physical activity and at least
one strategy to come over the barriers.
EO2.2 To indentify three additional strategies to increase participation.

PM1.1.1 Upon completion of the Walking Group program the individual will recognize
the importance of physical activity and its impact on fitness
