The second generation of computers came in the mid-1950s. These computers were smaller because they

The third generation of computers used integrated circuit to improve their performance in speed. These
computers work very quickly and efficiently. The users use keyboards and monitors to interact with the
computers.
The most exciting period in the development of computers is the fourth generation of computers. They were
introduced in 1971. These computers use microprocessors. As a result, the computers can fit in the palm of our
hand. These computers can form networks because they are very powerful.
