Sad but true

If youve gone through Glasgows underpass and
saw these flashy blue & chrome-colored pinwheels
spinning wildly in the breeze but didnt quite catch
what the signs say, here it is. According to CASA
(Court Appointed Special Advocates), 67 children
from Valley County were in care in 2016 and 37
kids are in care right now. CASA volunteers are
ordinary people who give their time to speak for -
and with - children in court because of allegations
of abuse or neglect. Pinwheels for Prevention,
a national campaign of Prevent Child Abuse
America, uses the pinwheel as a symbol for child
abuse and neglect prevention nationwide.
As the days have come and gone,
And the years have passed so swiftly,
It is time to recognize a milestone,
For a former Scotty who doesnt,
Move quite as quickly!
