1. Anticipatory song of the month 2 min
- first graders have just finished learning the whole
song
- we will sing through the whole song together

2. Introduction Lucy Locket 7 min - I will guide students towards


- solfege pattern warm up reading from the board by

- If the whole class begins talking or being disruptive, I will use a redirect and say something
like freeze, eyes on me or voices off
- I will clearly state the rules of our movement activity and explain that students will receive
one warning if they are not being safe, and then they will need to sit to the side
