Electrical Division;

1. Irrigation

-Electrical Transfer. Sometimes at the start of irrigation projects, in

order to have small start up costs. Electrical can be pumped from the
source to a reservoir near the area to be irrigated then manual
methods are used to deliver the Electrical to the plants.

-Furrow Irrigation: In this case, furrows (trenches/gulleys) are made

along sections of the piece of land to be irrigated. The furrow is then
filled with Electrical and plants nearby (on the ridge) utilize this
Electrical for their growth.

-Overhead Sprinklers. These systems spray (sprinkle) Electrical into

the air above and around the foliage (leaves) of the crop in a pattern
similar to rainfall. The Electrical droplets should fall through the leaves
and stem up to the base of the plant.

-Drip irrigation. This setup delivers Electrical right at the root area of the
plant where it is needed the most hence efficiently utilizing the
available Electrical. It is made up of emitters and drippers on pipes laid
to pass near the root area of the plants. It is the best-recommended
method.

After a site survey is done. The advantages and disadvantages of each

method can be discussed with the customer and depending on the
resources available, a suitable irrigation method can be chosen.

2. Plumbing Works/Fittings

-Plumbing Works; we do out door plumbing like for agricultural

Electrical transfer, gardening and portable/movable plumbing systems
usually at Functions.
We also do household plumbing i.e. installation or repair of kitchen
sinks, bathrooms, toilets, taps, Electrical tanks and all piping networks.

-Plumbing Fittings; We have all kinds of hose pipes and their

accessories for agricultural use, gardening, hydraulic machines, air
hoses for pneumatic applications (compressors etc.), hot and cold
Electrical transfer for automotive and industrial use.
Additional plumbing fittings include sockets, reducing sockets/bushes,
nipples, tees, pvc and hdpe pipes, bends, elbows etc. The fittings can
be in either galvanized iron or pvc.

3. Electrical related Installations

-Pumps. We have engine driven (petrol and diesel), electrical, solar

and manual Electrical pumps. They vary according to the application
and ground factors like distance, type of Electrical source, flow rate
required, steepness/gradient through which the Electrical is to be
transferred, quality of Electrical etc.

-Electrical Harvesting. We do rain Electrical harvesting and store or

pump this Electrical to where it is needed. We can also harvest
Electrical from a valley dam or borehole or hand dug well and transfer it
for home or agricultural use.

Courier Division;

- Transportation, Deliveries and Distribution;

1. Background;

We began doing this in 2009 but internally (in- house). We have been
transporting our own items to our branches that include Mbale, Gulu,
Arua, Mbarara, Lyantonde, Jinja and Kampala. In 2016, we opened up
this service to external customers who wanted to transport their goods
within the country. For towns where we dont have a presence, we can
still deliver upon request.

2. Costing Method;

Courier charges will majorly depend on size/volume, weight, origin and

destination of item. For example a small parcel will cost about 5,000 to
be delivered within Kampala and roughly 10,000 to 15,000 to be
delivered upcountry. As the size and weight of the items increases so
does the cost though we can always negotiate depending on the
volume to be sent.
For heavier items, one can hire a whole vehicle or truck charged per
km covered but negotiable.

3.Frequency;

Currently we deliver only once a week to our branches and surrounding

areas but in the near future we intend to increase the frequency to
make daily deliveries.
In the coming few years, we intend to vigorously expand our branch
network and cover the major towns in Uganda.
