Joseph,

Thank you again for agreeing to participate in the presentation! I appreciate it so much.

The Aquarium wants to go ahead and test all of the visuals tomorrow so that we don't have any technical difficulties, so
I was wondering if you could send me any of the visuals you planned on using.

Also, I will be at the Aquarium as early as 4:00 PM on the day of the presentation, so you can come straight there if you
arrive early.

Lastly, outside the theater, there is an open space where any of the speakers are welcome to set up tables for their
organizations to pass out literature before and after the presentation if Pew would be interested in doing that.

important sh in the bay! We will be holding a presentation at the Virginia Aquarium to garner supportfor the
conservation of the Atlantic Menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay. The event will include presentations by several
professionals in the eld and a question and answer period. More details to come!

Admission is FREE

The Atlantic menhaden is a rather unfamiliar sh to the common person, but it is being shed at alarming rates in
the Chesapeake Bay and off the coast of Virginia in the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean. This species of sh is being
harvested for the purposes of bait-shing and reduction-shing. It serves as a cornerstone of the Chesapeake
Bay environment and if not managed properly, could be detrimental for the health of the Bay.
