Dear Families,

This past semester we have thoroughly enjoyed working with your

children. We have loved getting to know each and every one of them. We are
thankful to have received the opportunity to create lesson plans and
implement them in your childs classroom. This experience has greatly
improved our professional development in regards to becoming future
educators.

During our time in the classroom, we had the opportunity to implement

a science investigation about mixtures. During this investigation, the children
explored different solids and liquids. We incorporated hands on learning
experiences for the children to grasp the properties of solids and liquids. We
further inquired mixing these two together with the students. The children
were able to make predictions, record careful observations and document
their work in their science journals. Overall, this semester proved to build a
strong background and involvement in science for the children as well as us
teachers.
