in how the population of students with cognitive mental illnesses are being othered in the classroom. Educated in what will the right solutions that must be fought for. Educated in how to be an efficient accomplice, not only an ally. An ally stands with the population in need of help. On the other hand, an accomplice takes a direct-action position within the given community. An accomplice knows their position requires them to confront, fight, and receive consequences hand in hand with the given community. To be an accomplice to the community of students with cognitive mental illnesses is to give assistance when better situated (Brown, Knollman, 2011, pg. 2). To use the advantage of having a voice in power and or simply give aid to the individuals. Another aspect of being an accomplice is to have an open mind away from negative connotations being heard from individuals with cognitive mental illnesses (Moskovkina, Pakhomova, Abramova, 2001, pg. 2).
