Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):


Students will be able to list healthy habits.
Students will be able to spell theme about keeping healthy lifestyle.
Students will be able to classify healthy habits and unhealthy habits.

theme about healthy life style.

worksheets/ papers Small paper to list the healthy habits and small words to write a advice to their
friend+ a small sentence to classify them in the board.

teacher materials Ball for the for the question+ Laptop to display the video and the book + big
picture to show the example of two students who are having healthy and
unhealthy habits and real materials to classify this two pictures (fruits and
vegetables).

Students Prior Knowledge:


Some student will know the healthy habits but they will confuse between the health and
unhealthy habits.
Some students will know how to spell the themes but they dont know its connected to which
sentence.
Possible Problems and Misconceptions:
The data show will not work.
The teacher doesnt have ability to manage the class.
Teacher voice is not clear.

Teacher should use the book to display the text and for the video she can start with a puzzle.
Teacher should use a special method to manage the class.
Teacher should have confidence and raise her voice to become clear for the all the class.

Lesson Schedule
Targeted teacher language:
Greeting (Good Morning, How are you students). Remind them about our class rule that if they set quiet and listen to
the teacher and speak English they will get green point and if they dont listen to the teacher and make noisy the will
get blue point. Now we will start with our ball that I will throw it to one person and I will ask you one question. After
that, we will see a video about how to stay healthy.
Student language:
Greeting (good morning teacher, Fine thank you). Yes we will set quality. Doing exercise and eating
healthy food. No this is unhealthy sleep late at night.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:

After knowing our lesson is about what, I will give the students a small paper that includes
one question (How can you stay healthy and strong). That will help me know their knowledge.

After we finish that paper, we will move to their activity book page 132 to do a reading. I will use the
speakers to let the students listen to the reading , I will play the audio twice and they will follow from
their books and I will ask them three questions:
1- How can you stay healthy?
2- Examples of healthy food?
3- Ways to exercise?
After we finish we will move to the activity book page 91 to let the spell theme about keeping healthy
lifestyle. After they will finish we will share the answers in the board.

After that I will put to big pictures in front the class about two girls to let the students classify the healthy
and unhealthy habits. Also, will put in each group some sentences and some real materials for the
classifying. The short sentences are: Drink water, eat egg, eat fish, eat fruits, drink milk, sleep early at
night, making exercise, eating hamburger, drink Pepsi, watch TV for a long time, siting in the room and
playing with ipad for a long time.

I will give each student a small paper that they should write an advice about how to stay healthy to their
friend.
