PURPOSE Why am I teaching this lesson? What do I want the students to know/to be able to
do by the end of the lesson that they could not do before? (LOs and SOs)
The lesson is done to explore what are non-living things and their characteristics, so the learners will
be able to recognize and describe non-living things.
GROUPING: What is the group size? How is every student going to be able to participate?
Will you be differentiating and how?
The students will be working in groups; each 5 will be in a group. Each group will be working on a
different station in the classroom.

Students already have a background about living things, and I believe that they can distinguish the
difference between living and non-living things.
Possible Problems :
The time might not be enough to teach the learners as much as I can
Solutions for the Possible Problems:
I will do stations related to my topic, so learners will be working on the same topic individually
Misconceptions:
The learners might get confused and mix up between living and nonliving things; they might say an
object that moves is a living thing!
Solutions for Misconceptions:
I will assess the learners understanding by asking them some questions such as: what type of
nonliving things move?
