From the beginning of time, we've told stories, Shamans and Medicine People, and not to be
pompous about it, but I feel like that is the lineage I take down and where I come from. There is magic
to storytelling. -Lynn Collins

As a mother for almost 15 years, I could say that children remember us most for three

things: the food we cooked for them, the time we were there when they need us, and the stories we

tell.

I am very happy to be invited and be part of the show ''Mamme Narranti'' in collaboration

with Andrea Satta and Tetes de Bois last February 26, 2017 at Bologna Teatro Ambu-Oratorio San

Filippo Neri. Together with other mothers from Argentina/Chile, Modena/Italia, Denmark, Gana,

and Marocco, we presented stories native to the country where we came from, using our mother

tongue and then translated to Italian. I told them the story which I wrote myself entitled '' The Little

Mouse Who Wanted to Reach the Clouds''. It is a story of friendship, the value of helping others,

and the importance of believing in your dreams. The story also features a character based on the

Philippine Eagle, an eagle which is endemic to the Philippines and the largest extant eagle in the

world. It is also one of the rarest and most powerful eagles, but it is now critically endangered.
 Aside from the beautiful music accompanying the stories, the show also featured

entertaining acrobats and live illustrations of the narrations by Progetto MigrArti. It was indeed a

wonderful moment for mothers of different nationalities to take the stage and for the stories that

they have brought with them to be heard. We hope that the stories would echo in the hearts of those

who have listened to them.

Dall'inizio del tempo, abbiamo detto le storie, gli sciamani e Medicina persone e non per essere
pomposo su di esso, ma mi sento come questo il lignaggio prendo verso il basso e da dove vengo.

Come una madre per quasi 15 anni, potrei dire che i bambini ci ricordano pi per tre cose: il cibo
abbiamo cucinato per loro, il tempo che eravamo l quando hanno bisogno di noi, e le storie che
raccontiamo.
Sono molto felice di essere stato invitato e di essere parte dello spettacolo '' Mamme Narranti '' in
collaborazione con Andrea Satta e Tetes de Bois scorso 26 febbraio, 2017 a Bologna Teatro Ambu-
Oratorio San Filippo Neri. Insieme ad altre madri provenienti da Argentina / Cile, Modena / Italia,
Danimarca, Gana, e Marocco, abbiamo presentato le storie nativi del paese da dove siamo venuti,
usando la nostra lingua madre e poi tradotto in italiano. Ho detto loro la storia che ho scritto io
stesso dal titolo '' The Little Mouse che volevano raggiungere le nuvole ''. E 'una storia di amicizia,
il valore di aiutare gli altri, e l'importanza di credere nei tuoi sogni. La storia presenta anche un
personaggio basato sul Philippine Eagle, l'aquila che endemica nelle Filippine e le pi grandi
aquile esistenti in tutto il mondo. E 'anche una delle aquile pi rari e potenti, ma ora in pericolo
critico.
A parte la bella musica che accompagna le storie, lo spettacolo inoltre ha caratterizzato acrobati
divertenti e illustrazioni dal vivo delle narrazioni di Progetto MigrArti. E 'stato davvero un
momento meraviglioso per le madri di diverse nazionalit per salire sul palco e per le storie che
hanno portato con loro di essere ascoltato. Ci auguriamo che le storie sarebbero risuonare nei cuori
di coloro che li hanno ascoltati.
