As a Barista my day to day responsibilities include having superb customer service, as well as
knowledge of company procedures and routines; keeping the store clean and assisting in
merchandising. I am certified as a trainer, with that certification I help make sure all new
employees follow a two week training module and understand the information necessary for
them to be great partners. Creating and maintaining strong customer bonds was a highlight of
my four years with Starbucks.
Day to day responsibilities included cash handling, creating an inviting environment for
families, excellent customer service, and merchandising. Located in a high end area, the high
amount of customer trac helped me learn to keep calm in stressful, hectic situations.
Shift Manager/Shift runner for a team of at least four or more. Day to day responsibilities
included preparation of food, delegating all work to crew, creating great customer service,
and maintaining relationships with regular customers. Managerial duties were being a
responsible key holder, who opened and closed, and in charge of daily cash drops,
distributing banks, and handling large amounts of money.
Skills I believe my biggest skill is my ability to communicate with not only customers, but also my
peers. I like to make working enjoyable, while still being productive. I have extensive customer
service experience, and I enjoy being creative I am skilled at positive coaching, and am able
to take constructive criticism.
