plans and text books. There is also an area for supplies, whether theyre for lessons
or teacher lunch, and the area consists of a filing cabinet, and mini-
fridge/microwave setup. And its in the back corner facing out, to better keep an eye
on the classroom. Then theres the counter/cabinet with sink. The cabinet will be
locked in case I need to store cleaning materials and other things chemically unsafe
for children reach, however the counter top will have paper towels and tissues on it
for easy student access. The backpack/belonging hangers, and cold lunch basket,
are near the door and placed next to each other so the students can get their
belongings sorted quickly and efficiently. At the center of the room reside the
student learning desks, 5 groups of 5, for the average class size of 25, they are
placed directly in the center in scattered position so the students can easily access
every center the room has. Directly in in front is the teaching podium where most
lessons will be taught from, with quick access to the whiteboard behind me. The
computer zone is mostly in the front to keep their mindset on the learning, but also
theyre near the adventure zone because they may be used for fun if the situation
allows. The adventure zone in the bottom left corner consists of a reading lounge,
meaning beanbag chairs, and all types of books. This can be utilized if a student has
completed their work and there is time left over for them, this doubles as a zone for
a Reading Counts style program, or instructor-led reading groups, hence the table.
Next, there is the student resources and treasure box cabinet, I am planning on
