MONITORING AND ROUTINE CARE


Connect to CPAP delivery device and ensureprescribed
pressure is being delivered.
Inspect for proper placement of CPAPCannulaide
securement device and skin integrityat least every
2 hours.
Routinely inspect the insides of the nares and provide
gentle suction as needed to removemoisture
and secretions.
Replace CPAP Cannulaide device at least onceevery 24
hours or more frequently if needed.
Follow your facilitys protocol for managementand
monitoring of CPAP therapy.

INDICATION FOR USE


To aid in securing and positioning the nasal interface used
in neonates, infants and children undergoing noninvasive
ventilation in an acute care setting. CPAP Cannulaide
securement device is disposable and for single patient use.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS


Do not use with low or high flow oxygen nasal cannulas
Remove CPAP Cannulaide securement device ifCPAP
therapy is discontinued or prongs areremoved
Do not use with a nasal CPAP masks
If skin irritation or necrosis is noted, discontinueuse of
CPAP Cannulaide securement device
If systemic or local infection develops under theCPAP
Cannulaide securement device, discontinueuse and
initiate appropriate adjunctive therapy
