Accommodation A few of the kids sit up front because of their IEP. There are also a few kids I
s, need to call on to make sure they are engaged.
If necessary
Closure Activity The students will work in groups of two and complete a worksheet where
there are several court cases. The kids have to predict which court each case
would go to before they read the article. Then they have to read the article
and explain n why the case went to the court it did.
Follow-Up/ Explain the state and federal court layers to an adult.
Homework
REFLECTION The lesson went well. I Got better as the lesson went on, but there are things I
(TO BE COMPLETED need to work on. I need to work on my response to incorrect answers. I wasnt
AFTER YOU TEACH)
exactly sure what to say when one of the students answered incorrectly, and I
will improve on that. I also need to walk around more.
Think about the following as you create the instructional activities for this
lesson
First stepObjectives. What do you want the students to know, understand, and
be able to do by the end of your lesson? What is the point of your lesson?
