TraditionalEducationisaThingofthePast
Traditionaleducationispartofthepast,wehave
developedashumansandoureducationshoulddevelopwithus.
Theamountofprogramsforchildrenwithlearningdisabilities
areverylimited.Manydontfocusonwhattheirfuturewill
contain.Thetransitionintotherealworldforthemonlystarts
whentheygraduate.Creatingvocationalprogramsintraditional
highschoolscanprepare/trainstudentsforareal-worldjob,
creatingabetterqualityoflife.Peopleneedtohavea
scheduleandresponsibilitytodosomethingthroughouttheir
days.Ifyouareleftwithnothingtodo,whattypeoflifeare
youreallyliving.Therearenomainvoicesonthistopic,
howevertherearecountlessschoolsinothernationsthatare
wildlysuccessful.Thereasoningandfightfortheseprograms
aredevelopedbyothercountrieswhohavethrivedusingan
adaptededucationalsystem.Theseinternationalschoolsarethe
evidenceweneedtoputasimilarsystemintoplaceherein
America.Vocationalprogramsintraditionalhighschoolsis

essentialforawell-roundededucationforallstudents,
allowingforcertificationsandcareerrightoutofhighschool
andwhileachievingahighereducation.Studieshavebeendone
toprovehoweffectivetheseclassescanbe,evenfurthersome
schoolsalreadyhavetheseprogramsandhaveshowedpromise.
However,theseprogramsshouldbeaccessibletoallstudents
throughoutthenation.Inforeigncountries,theyhaveentire
schoolscreatedforvocationallearning.Thisisnotonlyto
enhancetheeducationalexperienceofatypicalstudent,butit
enablesstudentswithdisabilitiestolearnatradeandhavea
betterqualityoflifeaftergraduation.Theseprogramsteach
whatyouneedtoknowfortherealworld.
Thegeneralyouthhasdevelopedadisconnectwithreality.
Theychooseunrealisticgoalsthatarentachievablebythem.
Low-achievingstudentshaveafalserealitywhenconsidering
theirfutureespeciallywhenitcomestohigheducation.Without
vocationalprogramsthesestudentsgointocollegeunprepared
andnotfavoredtosucceed.Theselow-achievingstudentsgetby
inahighschoolsetting,butwillsuffergreatlyata
university.Leavingstudentstofailincollegeisawasteof
timeandresources,thesestudentsarecluelessonacareerpath
andoftengetstuckonatracktheymayhavenointerestin.

Studentswhohavenointerestintheirmajorhaveahigher
chanceofdroppingoutorfailing.Givingthemachanceinhigh
schooltodiscoverpossibletradescanbenefitthesestudentsin
thelongrun.
Asawhole,collegeisbelievedtobethenextstepfor
everyone.Studentsareconstantlytaughttoachieveahigher
education.Thatisnotalwaysthecase,youdonotneeda
collegedegreetosupportyourself.Intradejobs,youtypically
justneedthepropertraining.Theneedforsemiprofessionalsis
constant,thereareavastnumberofjobopeningswaitingtobe
filledbypeoplewhohavethepropertraining,orwhoare
willingtobetrainedinthefield.Providingthechancetobe
trainedorcertifiedrightoutofhighschoolcanbedesirable
tostudentswhoarelookingforaneasyout,theyseethe
immediatepayoutofgettingajobversusthefouryearsthey
havetogothroughatauniversity.Theproblemwhencreating
thesecoursesthoughiscreatingacurriculumplanandfinding
instructorswillingtoteachthesetrades.
Creatinganatmosphereforstudentswhoarentcutoutfor
academiclearningimprovesthequalityofstudentslivesafter
graduation.Whetheritbelikestatedearlierlowachieving
students,orcouldpossiblehelpstudentswithlearning

disabilities.Creatingabettereducationforstudentswith
learningdisabilitiesisessentialtoprovidingthemwithequal
opportunities.Duetohavingalearningdisabilitythese
studentshaveahardtimekeepingtheirfocusinacademicbased
courses.Theydobetterinclasstheyhaveanactualinterestin
andwontgetboredandlosefocus.Creatinganenvironment
wherestudentscanthriveiswhatschoolisallabout.Adapting
educationtofittheneedsofthestudentsisimportant.
Thesecoursesshouldntbestrictlyforlow-achieving
studentsthough.Allowingallstudentsaccesstothesecourses
inimportant.Theseprogramscanhelpstudentsfigureouta
pathwaythatwanttopursuerightafterhighschool,orevenget
ahighereducationinaftergraduation.Thesestudentscanalso
usethesecertificationsthatreceivethroughtheseprogramsto
haveastablejobtopayfortheireducation.
