General Guidelines:

Each student will create his/her own scrapbook that shows his/her development as a
person. The student must provide pictures per stage of development.

The size of the scrapbook must be 8.5 x 11. You may present your scrapbook in
portrait or landscape orientation.

You must design your scrapbook based on your preferred theme. Bear in mind that
the scrapbook shows your development as a person. Therefore, it should represent
your personality following your preferred theme.

You may assign your own title per developmental stage.

Guidelines on how to create the Scrapbook

- The Reflection Paper is divided into five parts;

I. The Cover and the Title Page


o You must have a cover based from your preferred theme. The first page of
your scrapbook should be a title page that includes the following;

II. Primary Stage (6 to 8 years old)

o This stage presents your life as a grade 1 to grade 3 student. You just
started formal education.
o Present this stage by answering the following questions:
When you were in grade 1, what does your uniform looks like?
(Provide a drawing or a picture).
Were you able to wear your uniform on your own, or did somebody
help you?
Name three significant people in this stage of your life and describe
why they are significant to you?
What was your hobby during this stage?
How often do you pray?
How do you perceive God at this stage?
Name three significant events at this stage of your life and explain
why they are significant to you?
Explain what you want to become and why you want to be that
person? (Only if it is different from your dream in the previous stage)

III. Intermediate Stage (9 to 11 years old)
o This stage presents your life as a grade 4 to grade 6 student. At this stage
you
are already starting to have an idea of your sexuality.
o Present this stage by answering the following questions:
Describe your physical attributes during this stage. (Provide (a)
picture if possible)
Do you already have someone you admire at this stage? If yes,
describe his/her personality.
Who do you like most, your father or mother? Explain (your
answer).
Who is the most important person in your life during this stage?
Explain why. (Exclude your parents (from your choices))
What was your hobby during this stage?
How often do you pray?
How do you perceive God at this stage?
How do you study at this stage?
Do you have any achievements? (Enumerate them, if any)
Describe your dream, and explain why you wanted it. (Only if it is
different from the previous stage)

IV. Early Secondary Stage (11 to 13 years old)


o This stage presents your life as a grade 7 to grade 8 student. At this stage
you have just started junior high school.
o Present this stage by answering the following questions:
Describe your physical attributes during this stage. (Provide
picture(/s) if possible)
Who was your best friend? Describe her/him.
Do you already have someone you admire at this stage? If yes,
describe his/her personality.
What is your most embarrassing moment? When did it happen?
What are you most afraid of?
Describe one important event in your life?
How often do you pray?
How do you perceive God at this stage?
What does studying mean to you at this stage? Explain your study
habits.
Are you a person who seeks too much attention? Why do you
think so? Explain your answer.
How often do you pray?
How do you perceive God at this stage?
Do you have any achievements? (Enumerate them, if any)
Describe your dream, and explain why you wanted it. (Only if it is
different from the previous stage)

V. Late Secondary Stage (14 to 15 years old)


o This stage presents your life as a grade 9 to grade 10 student. At this stage
you are nearly finishing junior high school.
o Present this stage by answering the following questions:
Describe your physical attributes during this stage. (Provide picture if
possible)
What is your ultimate dream?
Do you think you are at the right age to have a serious relationship?
Explain your answer.
At this stage, who is your favorite member of your family. Explain
why?
How is studying important to you at this stage? Explain your study
habits.
Do you like to receive too much attention? Explain your answer.
How often do you pray?
How do you perceive God at this stage?

VI. Early Tertiary Stage (16 years old to present)
o This stage presents your life as a grade 11 student. At this stage you have
just started senior high school.
o Present this stage by answering the following questions:
Describe your physical attributes during this stage. (Provide picture if
possible)
Describe your life as a whole.
What is the most significant thing that your parents did for you that
you are most thankful for?
What/Who influenced you to pursue your current strand?
What do you want to pursue in college? Do you think you can pursue
it?
What/ Who motivates you the most?
What is your greatest achievement so far?
Describe what is success for you?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
What is/are your current skills? How did you learn them?
What are the things you want to improve in yourself?
How important (is) God in your life?

VII. Letters
o Allot a section for letters on your scrapbook. Show your scrapbook to at
least three friends, and ask them to write a letter to you.
o Ask at least one member of your family to write a letter for you.
(Preferably your parent). Include it in your scrapbook.
