This centre is well equipped with laboratory facilities and qualified staff
to provide research on diseases such as poliomyelitis, typhoid, cholera,
dengue, and sexually transmitted diseases including AIDS.
The dissemination of technical information and the introduction of new
approaches to prevent diseases, the health of Caribbean peoples is being
safeguarded.
