Context of the lesson
In this lesson, I will tell students a story about Two Red Tags with focusing on new vocabularies.
Teaching goal
Teaching students new vocabularies in the story.
Learning objectives Students will be able to:
1) describe the weather.
2) Mention the benefits of tugs.
3) Define the meaning of new vocabularies in the story.
4) Identify the problem in the story.
5) Identify how the problem has been solved in the story.
Assumptions about prior learning
The story is related to the weather. Students already know the weather and its types.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
- Some students may not get attention. So, I will be careful to make sure that all the students listen to what I
am saying and understand it as well.
- Some students may not participate during class discussion. So, I will make sure to involve them during
discussion to make them active in the class.
Personal focus for this lesson
In this class, I will focus on time management as I have 50 minutes to read the story and complete the
activities.
