1. With reference to the DepEd Order No. 16, .s. 2017 entitled "Research Management
Guidelines," this office is issuIng guidelines on the submission of research proposals and
/ composition of Schools DMsion . Research Committee (SDRC). . . .
.

2. The guidelines. on the submission of research proposals to the Division Office are as
follows:

a. The research topic/area should be taken from the Nlltlonal and Regional
Research Agenda which can be downloaded from the following websites:
pprddepedregion6.org and www.deped.gov.ph/orders/do-39-s-2016. Research
proposals not anchored with the Natiopal and Regional Research Agenda will be
automatically disregarded.

b. Have the research proposal be reviewed/edited by English/Filipino language
specialists, as the case may be, in the school/office where researcher is connected. The
schools are encouraged to create their School Research Committee preferably consisting
those who have expertise In the languages/research/statistics.

C. Research proposal/s should; follow the attached.pre$Cr/be outlln'elformat and will

be submitted to the Division Office on the deadline set by the

d. Have the research proposal be endorsed by the immediate supervisor and submit
to this Office c/o SDRC Secretariat .School Governance and Operaf,lons Division {SGOD)
for initial screening and evaluation of Schools Division Research
Committee
(SDRC) with
the following attachments (enclosed):
c.1 Research Proposal Applicaon Form and Endorsement of
Immediate Supervisor
c.2 Declaration of Anti-Plagiarism
c.3 Declaration of Absence of Conflict of Interest

e. The SDRC will evaluate the research proposal based .on the enosed
Guide/Criteria for Appraisingthe Basic-and Action Research Propoal. Proposals With
an average score of seventy percent (70%) and above will be endorsed by SDRC to .the
Regional Research Committee (RRC).
