Peer observation:

On Wednesday 20 of March 2017, I observed my colleague Fatima in Wesgreen


International School. She taught the students about rhyming words. In the begging of the
lesson, she used formative assessment strategy, which was ask questions. She used this
strategy this strategy to check students understanding. Then she started to teach the
students. After the activities, Fatimas MST told her that she want students to practice
the production with them.

The strengths points in her lesson were good introduce for the lesson. She asked students
many questions and she used more open-end questions, which make students think
more. Furthermore, she use different levels of the voice and that help her to encourage
the students to pay attention. In addition, she have good activities that link to her learning
objective.

The weakness point was time management. She spent more time doing activities with the
students so she did not have time to assess students learning at the end of the lesson.
