I have shot scene 3 and first part of Reshoot a couple of identified shots that
scene 4. are either shaky or out of focus.
Imported 16 minutes of video footage Continue to shoot scene 4 as well as shoot
onto hard drive. scene 2 and scene 5 of the short film with
extras.

Obtain stock footage for scene 1

Problems encountered:
Some unnecessary props are in frame and focus on some shots. A dozen of shots such
as panning establish shot and tracking shot are out of focus for audience to see clearly
of the setting. Unable to film some sections of scene 4 due to lack of extras. Rolling
shutter is noticeable on a few shots.

Reasons for problems and possible solutions:

Reshoot all necessary shots and obtain additional equipment such as a mini dolly to
redo tracking shots for narrative purposes. Rolling shutter will have to be fixed using
rolling shutter repair effect on Adobe Premiere Pro postproduction.

Details of successes:
16 minutes of footage had been captured without major issues that may include
camera being damaged or battery running out before end of shooting session.
Therefore, have hit the target-shooting ratio for the short film of at least 10.1. 16
minutes will be cut down to approximately 1.5 minutes in postproduction. Around 90 %
of shots are very well framed and last for a good amount of time around 15-30 seconds
allowing for great control in post production.

Reasons for successes:

Sufficient reliable equipment was provided before the shooting session that includes a
DSLR, Nikon D3200 and tripod along with 2 additional batteries in case if the battery
on the camera ran out before the shooting session was over. 1 battery did run out
beforehand meaning battery had to be swapped to another battery to continue
shooting, however, only occurred towards the end.

Any changes made to the product as a result of the above:

The script for the short film, The Deal will have to be adapted and altered due to
reduction of potential extras working on the film. Therefore, the total amount of
characters in the script has been reduced from 5 to 3. However, wont impact the
narrative of the film in a significant way.
