The lesson had variety of activities and it was mainly student-centered.

7-How does the teacher manage classroom? Can you identify classroom management
techniques used?
She had good classroom management. Transitions were smooth and did not take more than 1
minute. Teacher used count down technique to grab students attention. She had enforced 10
minute rule for the hall way passes. Students raised their hand when they want to ask questions
or participate.

8-Observe in the classroom setting and determine types of behavior students play when off-
task. What do they do when they are not paying attention? How does the teacher re-direct
them or get them back on task?
When they are off task, they usually chat with their peers. They are not walking around and
disturbing others. Sometimes, they are loud. Teacher uses count down technique to grab their
attentions. She also displayed times on the projector for count down as well.

When the teacher put them in a small group reviewing by Kahoot game quiz, they became more
engaged. During the lecture and independent study, they were less engaged.

12-What are the two instructional strategies you observed and would like to apply in your
classroom?
I observed that she used 5E Model and questioning technique. I would definitely utilize it during
my teachings.

13-What are two important classroom management strategies that you observed and would
like to apply in your classroom?
Count down (5 to 1) and count down on screen seemed very effective as the students were able
to see and remember how much time they have to complete certain tasks and they know the
procedures and expectations of teacher so they followed it during the transition of different
activity.
Secondly, she prepared reviewing Quiz by Kahoot. Students was enjoining while reviewing
subject. So it really effected students motivation positively to engage learning.
Last but not least, teacher hold positive relationship between students and among the students.
I would definitely consider implementing these strategies in my teachings.
