I highly and enthusiastically recommend Mr. David Han as a candidate for a teaching
position. David has very successfully completed his practicum experience at Hope
Elementary School in our Sixth Grade team. Our school is noted for a diverse student
population with a wide variety of learning needs and challenges.

Mr. Han had a positive, successful experience in the classroom. He performed all of his
teaching duties in a responsible and dependable manner. I was particularly impressed
with his strengths in relating to the students. His warm personality and rapport with the
students was excellent. He planned his lessons well and was sensitive to the needs of the
students. His growth in all areas was apparent from the first week to the final meeting.

Mr. Han enthusiastically took on a myriad of teaching responsibilities and lessons for
our Sixth graders. Mr. Han taught differentiated lessons in all subject areas. He was able
to plan instruction based on students prior knowledge, academic readiness, language
proficiency, and cultural background. He successfully planned and implemented a highly
engaging Social Studies unit on ancient China. Mr. Han also completed numerous
lessons and units of study in math and language arts using multi-media, CCSS aligned
objectives, and relevant rigorous standards. His motivation and knowledge of content is
strong, and he constantly seeks to provide students with innovative, relevant learning
experiences and productive feedback.

David has all of the necessary attributes and traits that make an outstanding educator.
He came well prepared to his student teaching assignment, having valuable pre-
professional experience with diverse learners. Mr. Han is able to differentiate
instruction with a whole class, as well as managing small groups or individual
instruction. He makes every effort to personally know the students and their unique
needs, adjusting lessons and instruction accordingly.

Mr. Han has approached all aspects of teaching with eager anticipation. Collaboration
and teamwork is critical in this profession and David demonstrated his ability to work in
partnership with a number of specialists, grade level teachers, and adjunct professionals,
working collaboratively to improve instruction.

Teaching a class of energetic sixth graders is a constant challenge in scheduling and time
management, and David always responded with a positive, flexible attitude. He is well
dressed, articulate, and always ready with a smile and a kind word. He has excellent
written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, reliable and computer
literate.
I am confident that David will be an asset to any staff that he works with. I believe that
he will continue to grow and develop as a consummate educator. I recommend David
