SHANDONG HONGTAI SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. was founded in

etc., all of which have passed the ISO 9001 2000 certification and the aluminum anode
has passed the inspection certification by Rolls Britain, the most authoritative company in
the world. And, the most advanced test equipment in the world purchased by the company
is now in operation, therefore Hongtai has in hand the golden key to the EU market. Ever
since its foundation, Hongtai has won trusts and supports from the customers with

addition, Hongtai has been defined as the key R&D base for Oceanic Environment
Corrosion Protection and Control for Qingdao City and the production base of the

sharpen its edge of market competition and to broaden the sales channel, Hongtai has
newly purchased 50 mu of land in the Economic Development Area of Yiyuan and
launched the production of a new type of serried product of PTC invented by academician
Mr. Hou Baorong for splash zone of oceanic steel and iron equipment, which is highly
commented by Mr. Zeng Peiyan, vice premier of the State Council and Mr. Chen Zhili,

Hongtai is series product of anti-corrosion paintings of DNT Resiguard concrete serried by
using the key laboratory technology of the Japanese DNT Corporation and the Chinese

Cathodic Protection (CP)
Cathodic Protection (CP) is a technique to prevent the corrosion of a metal surface by

making it to be protected the cathode of the system. Cathodic protection(CP) systems are
most commonly used to protect structures such as steel, water, ships hulls, buried
pipelines and submersed structures such as storage tanks, steel pier piles, ships,
offshore oil platforms and onshore oil well casings.
CP systems usually achieved by two methods, these are by applying to the sacrificial
anodes or by use of an impressed current system.

Sacrificial Magnesium anodes
Sacrificial Magnesium anodes are widely used for cathodic protection in

underground steel pipelines, tanks, boilers, condensers, water,
heatexchangers, ship hulls and marine structures applications, because it has
the greatest driving potential of any other metals.

consisting of 75% Gypsum, 20% Bentonite and 5% Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate, and

connected with PVC/PVC, XLPE/PVC, HMWPE, TW cable and sealed with epoxy resin.

Impress Current Anodes
Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) Anode

The MMO coated anode develops an oxide film on surface that plays as a barrier to
protect the corrosion. The application of coating consisting mixed metal oxides such as
RuO2, IrO2, TiO2 and Ta2O5, etc.
The MMO coated Titanium anode has excellent stability and corrosion resistance, which
could be used in a wide range of severe environments such as soil, both fresh and sea
water surrounding, and environments with very low PH values.

HSCI anode has the feature of less consumption rate, durability and strength which make
it has longer life than sacrificial anodes in CP systems. The HSCI anode also has good
electrical conductivities makes it wide used in soil, offshore structures, underground
pipelines, cables, etc.

Graphite Anode
Graphite anodes are produced by high quality petroleum coke and it has been available
commercially since 1940. We have developed several treatments to improve the
performance of the graphite anode and to filling the porous with high quality
nonconducting material like boiled linseed oil, wax and special resins.
Graphite anodes have been used in many applications for its affordable cost and good
electrical conductivity, especially used for underground pipelines.
The forms of graphite anodes:
