Processor
The processor is the CPU (Central Processing Unit).
The CPU responds to and processes the basic instructions that drive a
computer.
There are many different processor speeds to choose from. There are 3.2,
3.6, 3.9, 4.0, 4.7, etc. GHz.
There are two main brands of processors; Intel and AMD.
You need a processor to give instructions to the computer. Without it, a
computer will not know what to do.
Operating System

An operating system is a program manages all

other programs in a computer.
Mac OS, Windows 10, Linux, and Unix.
Without it, you will not be able to get to other
programs/applications.
Memory
Memory (RAM) is used to store information either temporarily or permanently.
There are different types of memory such as desktop, laptop, server, mac,
corsair, system specific, g. skill, and crucial memory.
No information will be stored or saved if you do not have memory.
There are two options of storage, 8 and 16 GB.
Getting the one with more storage will be better for a computer used for
gaming to save user info.
Hard Drive

saved data from the game.

Monitor
The monitor displays output to the user
ViewSonic, LG Electronics, Samsung, Acer, Dell, Etc.
Without a Monitor, their will be no screen to display what you are doing.
Video Card
The memory of a video card is almost the same as a regular random-access memory

(RAM) on a motherboard.

A video card is connected to the motherboard of a computer system through a slot

Other options are:

Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) or a Peripheral Component Interconnected

Express (PCle) connection

Sound Card

Speakers
Use: the purpose of speakers is to produce audio output that can be heard by the listener.

Why?: Allow users to have a greater experience with computers

Keyboard
Use: an input device used to enter characters and functions into the computer system by

Modem
Modems allow the users to have access to the Internet.
To do so, modems connect to your ISP (Internet Service
Provider) which provides either cable or DSL Internet
service.
There are different sizes and models of modems such as Arris,
Netgear, Linksys, and Motorola.
