    OFFICIAL LIST OF CANDIDATES FOR THE 2016


    SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS

    According to Article XIV of DepEd Order No. 47, series of 2014 entitled
    Constitution and by-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme
    Student Government in Elementary and Secondary Schools, the Supreme
    Student Government or SSG will have an independent poll body that will be
    called as SSG-COMELEC. One of its functions is to accept or revoke candidacy
    based on the criteria set by the SSG Standard Constitution and by-Laws and
    the SSG Election Code.

    As stated on Section 3, Article IX of the Standard SSG Election Code,


    THE FOLLOWING PAPERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY ASPIRING CANDIDATES TO
    THE SSG COMELEC TO BE DECLARED AS OFFICIAL ONES:

    THE CRITERIA TO BE AN OFFICIAL CANDIDATE ARE STATED ON SECTION 6,


    ARTICLE VIII OF THE STANDARD SSG CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS:
    The papers submitted by the candidates were evaluated by the SSG
    COMELEC officers based on the abovementioned criteria. The following

    Political parties with disqualified candidates must have to fill a


    substitute candidate as soon as possible. The substitute candidate must also
    fill the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) and the SSG Election Packet and
    his/her paper will be evaluated by SSG COMELEC if he/she can be a qualified
    candidate for the election.
