Making the Earth a better place

Hinduja Foundries has always looked beyond business and emphasised on bigger
issues. The environment, for instance, has been a major focus area. In line with this,
the organization has evolved an Environmental Management System that ensures
compliance with environmental norms.

The system adopts a methodical approach to minimise the impact of the Foundry on
the environment. The consistent efforts at sustaining a green planet have enabled
Hinduja Foundries to acquire the coveted ISO 14001 certification. At every stage of
production - from the stage of raw material acquisition to the eventual disposal of
waste - there is a thorough evaluation of the process. As a result efforts are
consistently made to reduce the overall impact of the Foundry on the environment.

Adherence to the Environmental Management System has resulted in optimization of

resources, streamlined production activity and lowered cost of production.
